Greg Lewin spent over 30 years in the institutional investment management business. He was a General Partner at four different hedge funds and a portfolio manager at Neuberger Berman. Greg began his investment career at Merrill Lynch as a senior analyst researching the companies that would go on to create the networked computing revolution. He received his MBA from New York University in 1982 and his BS from Northwestern in 1979.

Greg founded the American Dream Project. This was a nationally recognized mentoring project that helped more than 400 students, 5 New York City public schools and the “I Have a Dream Project” achieve their goals of increasing high school graduation and college attendance rates of students from disadvantaged neighborhoods. The program was featured in many high profile publications, including The New York Times, and was honored by President George H.W. Bush. Among many other charitable endeavors Greg also served as a board member for the Council of Economic Priorities where he helped foster the startup of the socially responsible investment movement.

Greg is an author, advisor and activist on a range of subjects that include investing, human behavior, education, food security and agricultural policy.
